I am an Assistant Professor of Speech, Communications, and Theatre at CUNY Borough of Manhattan Community College. I received my Ph.D. from Louisiana State University in 2008 in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Performance Studies. My M.A. in Communication Studies and B.A. in Theatre are both from the University of Northern Iowa. My writing has appeared in Text and Performance Quarterly, Theatre Annual, Communication Currents, Kaleidoscope, and Liminalities: A Journal of Performance Studies. I’m interested in the intersection of adaptation and interpretation, philosophies of difference, and digital performance of everyday life.
